Mission
Maximize learning opportunities for entrepreneurially inclined students and businesses in the region by:
- Being a comprehensive and valued resource for students, faculty, and the regional business community
- Delivering a nationally recognized Entrepreneurship curriculum
- Conducting rigorously applied research on topics relevant and useful to entrepreneurs
To achieve its mission, the Institute defined its educational objectives as building a quality Entrepreneurship education program by:
- Promoting the awareness of Entrepreneurship as a career
- Teaching prospective entrepreneurs how to establish new enterprises and grow, manage, and maintain them efficiently
- Encouraging entrepreneurship students to actively participate in events/programs hosted by the EI to gain valuable networking experience
- Offering the skills necessary to operate entrepreneurially within large, established organizations
